Thank you for visiting my site. After 34 years of federal service, primarily in the healthcare, I am retiring from federal service.

Recently, I have been the Program Director for the Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN) seeking to enable ubiquitous health information exchange on a local and nationwide basis. With the NHIN Program achieving production capability, I have accomplished what I set out to and need to step aside, allowing the new leadership team to take NHIN to new heights. Moving NHIN into production is the capstone of a wonderful federal career.

With my federal career complete, I am excited about the future. I intend to take a short break to recharge my batteries while considering opportunities in the commercial sector. I look forward to working to continue to advance health care IT improving health care for our active duty service men and women, our veterans, and all of my fellow citizens.
